NOS Hazet Wood Handle Screwdrivers set 815-1 815-2 815-3 in metal case GERMANY

  

NOS Set of 4 Wood Handle Hazet Screwdrivers from the 1980s, very similar to 1950s designs but brand new condition! Blade widths are 5.5mm, 6.5mm, and 8mm. Some could be good for Hazet Tourist or VW Round Box tools, if you don't have the 70 year old ones available. Personally, I just use these in general. I only use wood handle screwdrivers, Hazet and Stanley for fine important work and Irwin for scraping sludge off of old engines etc.

I can't abide by plastic handles. These are not restored or repainted any way.

The factory finish on the painted wood handles was quite variable and one of these sat in the sun in a hardware store window and faded somewhat. These are the heaviest ones Hazet made. The shanks run through to the top of the handles, and heavy leather pads are included for hammering. Also the blades were machined from forged Hex stock and they left the hex section near the handle for using a spanner wrench for more torque. This set of new old stock screwdrivers comes in a used Hazet metal case, roughly 12" x 7"x1.5.

Drivers will also be listed separately. Of course completely made in Germany. Hazet no longer makes any screwdrivers in Germany. They don't make wooden handle screwdrivers anymore either, not even in the plant in Slovakia where the new stuff is made. 5 pieces including the metal case.

Hazet don't make these metal cases anymore in this size.
